We're hiring: Estate Planning Attorney $130,000–$160,000 base | No billable hour requirement Hargrove Firm is a national estate planning and tax law firm serving individuals and families across all 50 states through a modern, technology-enabled legal platform. We partner with leading RIA firms and financial advisors to deliver sophisticated estate planning in a client-focused, accessible, and efficient way. We're growing and looking to add an Estate Planning Attorney to our team — we welcome candidates ranging from associate to senior level. The top of our range is reserved for attorneys bringing deep complex estate and trust planning experience and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with RIA firms and financial advisors, client trust and advisor partnerships are core to how we work. THE ROLE This is a chance to practice estate planning without the traditional billable-hour model, while working with high-quality clients, respected financial advisors, and a collaborative national legal team. You'll guide clients through the planning process, lead virtual client meetings, advise on estate and tax planning issues, and help ensure each plan is thoughtfully designed, properly coordinated, and effectively implemented. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident with clients, comfortable working with financial advisors, and excited to practice at the forefront of modern estate planning, whether you're a few years into your career or a seasoned practitioner ready for more complex work. WHAT YOU'LL DO Conduct virtual client meetings to gather information, clarify goals, and present tailored estate planning strategies Draft and review estate planning documents: wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related instruments Lead client and advisor meetings with professionalism, clarity, and confidence Collaborate with financial advisors, internal team members, and our of-counsel attorney network across all 50 states Stay current on federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws Advise clients on asset titling, beneficiary designations, and trust funding Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and their leadership team Respond to client and advisor inquiries promptly and professionally WHAT YOU BRING Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one state bar 3+ years of experience in estate & trust planning (more experienced candidates encouraged to apply: compensation scales with experience) Strong knowledge of estate planning and trust funding; high-net-worth planning experience a plus Excellent client-facing skills: you can explain complex planning concepts clearly Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, drafting, and writing skills Comfort working in a technology-enabled legal practice A genuine commitment to exceptional client service WHY HARGROVE No billable hour requirement Competitive salary ($130K–$160K) and benefits 401(k) with employer match Comprehensive health insurance Paid time off Flexible work arrangements A collaborative, national team Hargrove Firm is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace #EstatePlanning #TrustAndEstates #LegalJobs #AttorneyJobs #Hiring #RemoteLegal
