Seeking a Databricks-focused engineer to help implement, enhance, and operationalize our Databricks platform. This role combines DevOps practices with light data engineering to convert business-developed code into secure, scalable, production-ready deployments.

Databricks + ETL/ELT + PySpark + CI/CD + SQL + Azure DevOps + Productionizing Pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• 3+ years in data engineering or ETL/ELT (or equivalent software engineering).
• Strong DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, Git workflows, environment management.
• Hands-on Databricks and/or Apache Spark (PySpark preferred).
• Ability to productionize business/citizen‑developer code.
• Strong SQL and performance tuning skills.
• Experience building Lakehouse‑pattern pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot across data, platform, and deployment layers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Spark Declarative Pipelines or Databricks AI/BI Genie.
• SAP Datasphere / HANA experience.
• Azure Cloud experience.
