Full time, continuing position located at our Camperdown/Darlington campus Opportunity to provide executive assistant and project management support in a school that is a passionate leader in creating a digital, sustainable and healthier future Base Salary $107,312 - $115,686 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering are welcoming applications for an Executive Assistant and Project Officer to provide a broad range of administrative, operational, and project support to the Head of School, School Manager and the school to meet the operational requirements. This role will work in partnership with various internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility, a proactive approach to change, and a willingness to work through ambiguity are key as we continue to embed a renewed operating model. Your key responsibilities will be to: maintain the diary and reconcile expenses of the Head of School and School Manager support the Head of School and School Manager in the day-to-day operation of the school including onboarding of new staff members ·maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current challenges impacting the operation of the school and support raising and resolving them by liaising with the relevant PSU support the Head of School and School Manager in delivering a range of strategic and operational projects, such as school planning, events, compliance, external engagement, marketing materials, reporting, or internal process improvements handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times support the school committees and work with the relevant professional staff and academic roles to support CBE staff and students. support the Head of School and School Manager in delivering projects for the school support the school with iChemE and Engineering Australia accreditation. About you a tertiary qualification with some relevant work experience; and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training experience building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including academic staff, professional staff, and external partners, and a commitment to providing high-quality support services effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) together with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, along with the ability to prioritise workload during busy periods ability to work independently and as part of the team excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes superior computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) together with experience operating with large, corporate-level database and information systems familiarity with systems such as Workday, Campus Assist, Concur and PowerBi experience delivering projects, preferably in a tertiary education environment. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site four days per week, with one day per week available for remote work (work from home).
