Executive Director of Strategic Growth Position Summary The Executive Director of Strategic Growth is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen competitive positioning. This executive leader identifies new business opportunities, builds strategic partnerships, leads business development initiatives, and aligns organizational resources to achieve long-term growth objectives. Serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Executive Director collaborates across business units to accelerate growth, foster innovation, and ensure the organization remains responsive to evolving customer and market demands. This will be a remote position, but the candidate must be located in the Orlando, FL area. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Growth Develop and execute the organization's strategic growth plan aligned with corporate objectives. Identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and expansion initiatives. Assess industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging market opportunities. Recommend strategic investments, partnerships, and initiatives that support long-term growth. Establish and monitor growth-related metrics and performance indicators. Business Development Lead business development efforts to secure new customers, contracts, and strategic opportunities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies. Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure growth initiatives align with organizational capabilities. Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and customer presentations. Market Expansion Identify and penetrate new markets, industries, and customer segments. Evaluate market conditions and recommend strategies for expansion. Position the organization to enhance brand awareness and market share. Develop go-to-market strategies for new services, products, and solutions. Strategic Partnerships Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiate and manage strategic alliances that support business growth objectives. Identify opportunities for collaboration, joint ventures, and partnerships. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements. Revenue Growth & Performance Management Drive achievement of annual revenue and growth targets. Monitor and analyze business performance to identify opportunities and risks. Develop forecasting models and pipeline reporting processes. Provide executive leadership with regular growth performance updates and recommendations. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop business development, marketing, and growth professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus. Promote collaboration across departments to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives. Support succession planning and leadership development efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, strategic planning, sales, or growth management. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies. Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (MBA or related field). Experience in government, defense, technology, professional services, healthcare, or related industries. Strong network of industry contacts and business relationships. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, or corporate development. Knowledge of market intelligence, CRM platforms, and business analytics tools.
