In this role, your key responsibilities include : Product Strategy and Marketing Innovation- Lead and manage the development and execution of the Islamic retail assets product strategy, ensuring alignment with growth of market share and profitability through the development and enhancement of innovative, differentiated and compliant product propositions. Guide the integration of emerging technologies, customer insights, and strategic marketing alliances into product design and positioning to ensure high visibility, competitive advantage, and sustained customer engagement. Oversee and manage the product mix, portfolio composition, customer usage patterns, cost of funds and yields performance to align with business objectives, while ensuring full compliance with Shari’ah, legal, regulatory and Bank guidelines. Provide an oversight and direct strong customer communication by way of collaterals and term sheets for product information and manage the establishment of customer campaigns through various channels including advertisements and product promotions to ensure growth in customer share. Constantly monitor the management of market trends to ensure that any new developments either technology driven or otherwise, are incorporated into the offerings of the Bank. Oversee budget alignment and supervise the advertising and promotion funds allocated to product programs Sales Management- Provide guidance and oversight in the planning, development and implementation of all acquisition programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and to maximize product sales and market awareness. Oversee and assess performance of all acquisition programs to ensure results are on track and if not, to identify the problems/issues and recommend solutions to rectify them Partner Relationship Management- Foster cross-functional collaboration with external partners, vendors, and other internal departments to achieve business objectives, supervise the conduction of meetings and ensure timely reports submitted with partners. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the customer value proposition and deepen partner synergies People Management- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation Budget Management- Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment Customer Service- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions The ideal candidate should have the following experience At least 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to Islamic retail asset products, product management, portfolio performance, customer proposition development and cross-functional stakeholder management Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or a related discipline Having any of the following professional qualifications will be preferred: Certified Islamic Banker, Certified Shari’ah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA), Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE), Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ), Certified Product Manager (CPM) Islamic Retail Asset Products Product Strategy and Portfolio Management Shari’ah and Regulatory Awareness Customer Experience Design Digital Banking Solutions Financial and Portfolio Analysis Market and Competitor Analysis Stakeholder Management Leadership and Team Management What we offer: Comprehensive Benefits Package : This includes market-leading medical insurance, group life and personal accident insurance, paid leave and leave airfare, employee preferential rates on loans and finance facilities, staff discounts and offers, and children education assistance (for certain job levels).
