Job Description: Position Purpose: The Executive Social Mission Administration Lead exists to provide strategic and executive-level support to the Territorial Social Mission Secretary, enabling effective leadership, decision-making, and execution of key priorities across The Salvation Army in Canada. By coordinating projects, supporting leadership communications, and driving team alignment and governance processes, this role strengthens organizational effectiveness and helps ensure Social Mission initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with the organization's mission. Key Accountabilities: Provide executive administrative support to the Territorial Social Mission Secretary by managing priorities, information flow, and decision-support materials that enable effective leadership and decision-making. Coordinate strategic initiatives, special projects, and organizational priorities to ensure timely execution, stakeholder alignment, and achievement of desired outcomes. Develop and maintain project plans, tracking mechanisms, and reporting tools that enhance accountability, visibility, and progress across multiple workstreams. Enable collaboration across Social Mission and with other departments by ensuring clear communication, alignment, and seamless information sharing. Prepare executive communications, presentations, briefings, and stakeholder updates that support consistent messaging and informed decision-making. Manage governance processes by coordinating committee and board requirements, maintaining official records, and ensuring follow-through on decisions and action items. Drive operational excellence through process improvements, effective use of systems and tools, and the implementation of practices that enhance efficiency, productivity, and transparency. Manage key administrative, financial, and office operations, including calendar and email administration, budget reconciliation, records management, workspace coordination, and departmental resource support. Education and Experience Qualifications: Completion of a formal post-secondary/college/university program of three academic years in Business Administration or related field. Project Management Designation considered an asset and related experience. Seven years of administrative experience, including executive administrative experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems, platforms, and technologies. Strong knowledge of digital communication and collaboration tools, with the ability to support effective virtual engagement and information sharing across teams. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and complex workloads while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Organizational skill and experience is a vital asset. Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional, and effective communications for a variety of audiences. Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, anticipating needs, and recommending practical solutions. Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and provide exceptional client service. Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and accountability, with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment. Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $85,321.60 to $106,641.60 with a maximum of $127,982.40. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
