We seeking an Experienced Accountant to join our Entrepreneurial Services Group, supporting middle-market businesses through Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS), tax compliance, and planning. Working closely with clients and engagement teams, the Experienced Accountant will provide accurate financial information, practical insights, and responsive service to support informed business decisions and long-term goals. Major Responsibilities Support multiple engagements and build trusted client relationships. Perform accounting activities, month-end close, and financial reporting. Analyze financial results, KPIs, and trends to identify actionable insights. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial modeling, and process improvements. Prepare tax returns and support year-round tax planning. Research and communicate accounting and tax matters. Manage assigned timelines, budgets, deliverables, and service quality. Collaborate across service lines to support onboarding, retention, and additional client needs. Preferred Experience / Background / Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. CPA license, CMA certification, or active pursuit of either credential preferred. At least 3 years of public accounting experience, including tax and outsourced accounting or advisory services required. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and business and individual taxation required. Experience managing multiple assignments, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar accounting platforms. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash flow analysis. Strong analytical, client service, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to explain accounting and tax matters clearly. Working Conditions Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days per week in the office or at a client site. Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations. Travel is typically 5% annually but may vary based on business needs. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout office. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
