In this role, you will be instrumental in translating deep scientific and clinical insight into impactful medical strategy, education, engagement, and communication across global markets. Your role You will help define and drive the optimal medical positioning within chronic hand eczema and the broader dermatology landscape. You will provide high-quality medical content and strategic input to support internal and external dialogue, disease awareness, publication planning, medical education, and global asset development. Your work will connect science, strategy, and stakeholder engagement - ensuring that medical activities are aligned, evidence-based, compliant, and focused on unmet patient needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing medical input to global strategic and tactical plans. Developing and updating key medical documents, including scientific narratives, message compendia, and target product claim materials. Creating scientific content for advisory boards, symposia, expert meetings, training, and disease awareness activities. Identifying clinical and pre-clinical data gaps and contributing to initiatives that address them. Acting as medical expert reviewer for study documents, publications, posters, protocols, and other scientific materials. You will also contribute to competitive intelligence, support interactions with external experts and partners, and collaborate closely with commercial, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, HEOR, market access, publication, and medical information colleagues. The role includes presenting medical data at internal and external meetings and supporting medical training for selected indications. International and domestic travel of up to 25% should be expected. The role can work remote, and you can be situated in any country where we have an affiliate. Your qualifications We are looking for a highly experienced medical affairs professional with good scientific credibility, dermatology insight, and the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams. You bring the expertise needed to translate complex clinical and scientific information into clear, strategic, and impactful medical communication. Key qualifications include: Medical degree or similar scientific/clinical qualification; dermatology experience is preferred. Solid professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical research. +5 years of experience within Medical Affairs, preferably in a global role. Good understanding of clinical development programmes, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience managing Key Opinion Leader relationships and presenting scientific information to diverse audiences. You have good business and commercial understanding and a track record of successful collaboration with commercial, legal, regulatory, and medical communications teams. Personally, you are proactive, structured, and able to influence. You communicate clearly in English, demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity, and thrive in an environment built on integrity, excellence, initiative, and compliance. Your new team You will join the Global Medical Affairs team. The team works at the intersection of science, patient needs, medical strategy, and global commercialization. You will collaborate closely with Global Brand Leadership, Affiliate Medical Affairs, Global R&D, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, Legal, and Compliance colleagues to support the successful global development and commercialization of the asset.
