Extended Day + After-School Programs Supervisor/Front Desk Receptionist

Mason Preparatory School is an independent Pre-K-8 school dedicated to educating the whole child through strong relationships, academic excellence, and an engaging, student-centered learning environment. We are seeking an Extended Day Director/Front Desk Receptionist to join our collaborative and supportive team. The Extended Day + After-School Programs Supervisor/Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the school and provides a safe, welcoming environment for parents, students, staff, and visitors. This hybrid role splits responsibility between managing the main reception area and overseeing the Extended Day + After-School programs. Position Details: Title: Extended Day + After-School Programs Supervisor/Front Desk Receptionist Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Reports to: Head of School Schedule: Full-Time; 9:45 am to 5:45 pm Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for school events. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Undergraduate degree from an accredited university preferred Previous experience in childcare, education or administrative role preferred Proficiency in Google Workspace and school information systems Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to multitask and either work independently or in a team environment First Aid and DSS certification preferred Duties and Responsibilities: Greeting visitors, parents, students, and staff professionally and warmly Managing sign-ins and sign-outs Answering and routing phone calls and taking messages Receiving and distributing mail, deliveries, and student items Keeping reception area organized and welcoming Overseeing the safety, well-being and behavior of students in the Extended Day program Supervising Extended Day staff, arranging coverage and adhering to safety protocols Developing engaging activities, arts and crafts, and games for the students Maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, tracking attendance of students after-school hours _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Interested candidates are encouraged to learn more about Mason Preparatory School by visiting our website https://www.masonprep.org/ to explore our mission, programs, and community.
