Our Advanced Operations Engineering team is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative Ignition and factory visuals developer to join our team. This role will support and expand our digital initiatives across our aerospace & defense manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration skills to lead Ignition development, deployment, and sustainment across Collins Operations. In this role, you will build and sustain factory visuals applications that provide real-time insights into production equipment, improve manufacturing efficiency, and support mission-critical traceability and compliance. This is a remote based position. What You Will Do Ignition Applications : Develop and enhance Ignition Perspective dashboards, HMIs, analytics, and alarms to support manufacturing and operations workflows. Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and implement upgrades or enhancements. Data Analytics : Transform data sets into user-friendly dashboards for self-service analysis using Tableau and/or Power BI. Collaborate with digital technology teams and stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies as needed. Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing needs into scalable software solutions. Database Management : Configure and manage on-premises and Azure SQL databases. Continuous Improvement : Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvement initiatives. Documentation and Training : Create documentation, standard operating procedures, and provide basic user training. Travel : Ability to travel up to 15% as required. Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, including connectivity, data collection, IIoT, systems integration, AI, and machine learning. Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across organizational boundaries. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience and sustainment, while being team-oriented, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
