Closing Date: 23rd August 2026 Contract Type: Temporary until March 2027 Salary: £34,896 - £37,746 Hours: 35 per week The Family Wellbeing Team offers families access to holistic support that is wrapped around their individual needs - supporting families at an early stage of intervention, as well as at times of crises. This support is allowing families to build resilience and coping strategies with the aim that they do not need to receive support from statutory services. This team is working on transforming the delivery of family support, shifting towards preventative intervention, and in future reducing the need for crisis intervention. We're looking for an additional Family Wellbeing Worker to join this team as we are changing how we deliver support to families who are at the cusp of coping. This is an exciting and varied role which will see a range of tasking to support whole families to be successful in meeting their needs. These individuals will be skilled at working alongside families in building on existing strengths and in helping families identify and address areas of challenge. In addition to practical tasking, including direct home care tasks, this role will also be about maximising future family potential and maintaining children safely at home in their family. We are looking for individuals who can partner sensitively with families and are able to build meaningful relationships with families and other professionals to achieve better outcomes for children. As part of transforming service delivery this post could involve working evenings or weekends, in line with the needs of the service. The post holders will require to be responsive to the needs of the service, and demonstrate flexibility in their ability to responding to changing need. This is a time limited post (until 31st March 2027) in line with the Scottish Government Whole Family Wellbeing Monies, with the potential for extension in future depending on the release of further funds.
