About the Role The Estimator Support I plays a key role in supporting the physical damage claims process by preparing accurate repair estimates and evaluations within established guidelines. This entry-level position focuses on developing estimating expertise while ensuring high-quality documentation, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to efficient claim evaluations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically inclined, and eager to build foundational knowledge in claims estimating. What You'll Do Prepare accurate repair estimates and evaluations for assigned physical damage claims using claims estimating systems. Apply established repair practices, valuation guidelines, and material standards to produce complete and well-documented estimates. Document estimate details within claims systems to support claim evaluation and approval processes. Execute estimating activities within defined authority levels and escalate complex or non-standard cases when appropriate. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, peers, and senior estimators to clarify estimate requirements and resolve routine questions. Identify discrepancies and support their resolution under the guidance of experienced team members. Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with company procedures while meeting productivity expectations. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. 1+ year of related professional experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of automotive repair or property repair principles. (must have) Experience working with estimating or claims management systems.
