Field Application Engineer

Location: Mexico (Remote)

About the Role

FJDynamics is looking for a Field Application Engineer based in Mexico to support our local customers and distributors. In this role, you'll work closely with our Sales, Product, and R&D teams to provide technical support, deliver product training, solve customer issues, and help improve our products based on real customer feedback.

What You'll Do

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for product installation, software usage, calibration, troubleshooting, and daily operation.
• Identify, document, and summarize common technical issues, and work with the R&D team to support analysis and resolution.
• Gather customer feedback, local market needs, and product improvement suggestions, and share them with the relevant internal teams.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including product manuals, installation guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Deliver product and technical training for local distributors, dealers, and business partners.
• Support the R&D team with localization testing and validation of new products, software, and product features.
• Complete other technical support tasks assigned by the line manager.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Professional working proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain technical products, systems, and operational processes.
• Previous experience in field service, application engineering, technical support, or after-sales service is preferred. Experience in agricultural machinery or agricultural technology is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into clear feedback for internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and R&D.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and confident, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within Mexico as needed to provide on-site customer support and training.
