About the Role: Orca Security is looking for a Field CISO / Technical Evangelist to serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs and security leaders, bringing real-world cloud security expertise to customers, prospects, and the broader industry. The ideal candidate combines deep technical credibility with executive presence, translating complex cloud security concepts into clear, actionable guidance that resonates with both security practitioners and business leaders. What You'll Do: Advise CISOs and security leaders on reducing business risk with Orca's CNAPP capabilities Support strategic deals by joining executive conversations on architecture, positioning, and objections Represent Orca as a thought leader at conferences and roundtables, sharing perspectives on cloud security trends Relay customer needs, regulatory shifts, and competitive intelligence back to Product and Engineering Serve as executive sponsor to Orca’s Customer Advisory boards Own customer enablement content strategy/user center strategy Become an expert Orca Security user with deep knowledge of the console and API Contribute helper scripts and tools to Orca’s Github repository Build relationships with CISO communities, analysts, and industry peer groups to strengthen Orca's credibility What You Bring: 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience, including experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or senior security executive Strong knowledge of cloud security: history, competition, acquisitions, Gartner categories, etc Experience in technical product sales Experience both creating and delivering content in webinars, webcasts, interviews, and panel discussions Experience with Infrastructure and Platform as a Service Providers: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Experience in both speaking about technical topics with business people and business topics/issues with technical people Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences Be an engaging communicator who is passionate about cloud technology, and have a wide industry drive to interact with customers, prospects, analysts, media, and other industry SMEs Up to 25% travel What We Offer: Competitive salary and equity package Discounted medical, dental, and vision benefits with significant employer contribution Benefits coverage starting on your first day of employment Generous PTO with U.S. holidays observed and flexible hybrid & remote work environments Your choice of Mac or Windows laptop Work-from-home stipend to be used in your first month of employment Monthly reimbursement for cell phone and for home internet The chance to collaborate with a team of talented global colleagues all around the world Annual Salary range: $220,000 - $260,000.
