This role requires: The Field Access & Reimbursement environment for specialty biologics has proven to be highly challenging for HCPs and Patients. Payer Formularies and restrictive Utilization Management Criteria including: Prior Authorization Processes, Step Edits, Appeals, detailed Clinical Documentation, Peer to Peer reviews etc. requires dedicated and focused customer facing support through the Reimbursement Management Team. The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a critical front-line member of the Regeneron Commercial and Field Reimbursement Management team. The primary purpose of this role provides best-in-class support to minimize reimbursement and process approval barriers resulting in a better overall patient journey and access to needed therapy. The RBM position requires the ability to successfully navigate and across multiple internal stakeholders, sales teams, Payer teams, HUB, etc. The Field Reimbursement Manager - Rare Disease (FRM), This position will cover the current and future rare disease portfolio and will manage an assigned geographic region. You will support prescribing/treating health care providers (HCPs) and their office staff in acquiring appropriate and timely patient access to Regeneron’s rare disease products. This individual will be key in the rollout of reimbursement information updates and brand specific strategies and will develop and maintain a high-level of collaboration and integration with cross-functional partners. When & where: Remote role Location: Northeast Discover your role: Establishing HCP/office, understanding of access services/support, including patient-specific coverage, channel acquisition, and site of care options including infusion centers Supporting the identification of potential site of care locations for patient treatment, on-boarding of site and ongoing site account management Ensuring optimal patient access, effective account- and patient-level pull-through On-going monitoring for patient compliance and adherence to treatment Develop an encouraging and collaborative relationship with Regeneron colleagues (Regional Directors and Account Specialists) to educate physician offices in coverage, coding of Regeneron products Daily case update meetings with HUB and communication of the case status to field partners Provide support to sales partners via distribution of reimbursement materials and assistance to physician offices, infusion centers and HUB program partners Demonstrate territory planning and time management skills by efficient covering of the specific geographical area of responsibility This role requires: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university 5-10 years' pharmaceutical/biotech/device experience, including required experience in the areas of rare disease, cardiometabolic diseases, including Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia Preferred areas of experience include market access (e.g., field reimbursement, account management, marketing, or trade) Strong preference for Buy & Bill and Specialty Pharmacy experience with previous rare disease preferred Must possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. This includes demonstrating an understanding of how to call out issues/concerns, and effectively communicate with others, especially those in other functional areas Knowledge of private payer (MCO), Medicare, and Medicaid structures, systems, methodology, and reimbursement policies and processes. Proven ability to lead multiple projects and excellent ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Must be willing to travel up to 30-40% Does this sound like you?
