Job Description Summary About This Role Wind turbines don't maintain themselves — and when something goes wrong at height, in the field, under pressure, the right engineer makes all the difference. As a Field Service Engineer at GE Vernova, you'll be on the front line of keeping wind energy assets running at their best. From preventive maintenance to complex corrective repairs, you'll work directly on customer-owned wind farms, delivering technical solutions that keep clean energy flowing reliably. This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership of technical challenges, and is proud of the quality of their work. Job Description What You'll Do Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wind turbines — including repair and replacement of electronic components, motors, brushes, and related parts Perform inspections and diagnostics of internal and external turbine components, identify root causes of reported issues, and document findings to support continuous improvement Deliver service solutions to customers covering operations, SCADA systems, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance support Act as the primary interface between the customer and GE Vernova on site — building strong working relationships, exchanging technical information clearly, and ensuring issues are resolved effectively Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Remote Operations Center (ROC), sourcing, and engineering to resolve technical issues at site Complete technical reports, service records, and business documentation accurately and on time, in compliance with work instructions, regulatory requirements, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards Who You Are You are a technically grounded field engineer who is comfortable working independently at height and in varied site conditions, with a track record of delivering quality results in wind energy operations or maintenance environments. Required Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or Mechanical) Minimum 4 years of experience of field service experience in wind turbines or wind project execution Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for customer interaction and technical documentation Ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally Preferred Experience in onshore wind service operations Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Experience with SQDC frameworks, quality audits, Kaizen, or Performance Development Review activities Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No #LI-Remote - This is a remote position
