Field Service Engineer DCS Systems Introduction Join Honeywell's Process Solutions team and help deliver innovative automation and control system solutions in Aberdeen. As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical support, maintenance, upgrades, and commissioning services while building strong customer relationships and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities Deliver Life Cycle Service & Support (LSS) activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and service profitability. Perform installation, configuration, commissioning, upgrades, migrations, and modifications of Honeywell Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, and related control and safety systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, networking, and application issues, escalating where required to ensure rapid resolution. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying service improvements and business growth opportunities while actively supporting sales initiatives Ensure safe and high-quality service delivery, adhering to Honeywell standards, customer requirements, and internal reporting and documentation processes. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in field service engineering and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, networking, and related control systems is highly desirable. Degree, apprenticeship qualification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Strong technical troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required Working Arrangements Hybrid working model with the flexibility to work from home and attend the Aberdeen office two days per week. Occasional offshore travel required for assignments of up to three weeks. All transportation, accommodation, and travel expenses for offshore assignments are fully covered.
