Field Service Engineer (IT Hardware / Travel Required)

Job Description This is a remote position. Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “ Planned Activities Specialist / Field Service Engineer (IT Hardware) ". Travel: 90% (East Coast - Travel expenses will be reimbursed per the Expense Policy) Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of FT Extension) Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick Leave, 401K Overview In this role, you will be supporting IT hardware installation and preventive maintenance of diagnostic equipment across the Southeast. This is a highly hands-on field position and an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineering or technical professional interested in developing a career in field engineering. Responsibilities • Install and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic equipment • Support hardware and IT/connectivity activities • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hardware, and system issues • Complete equipment service and installation documentation • Travel extensively to customer locations across the Southeast and occasionally other U.S. locations • Work directly with customers and technical teams • Participate in training at Indianapolis facility Qualifications • Bachelor's or Associate's degree • 0–5 years of relevant experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply • Hands-on mechanical, electronics, hardware, IT, or equipment experience • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills ​If interested, please share your updated resume at [email protected] / [email protected] .
