The Field Service Engineer II is responsible for delivering exceptional service and technical support to Honeywell customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective planning and execution skills, and the ability to lead teams in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving Building Automation and related systems. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Relationship Management Deliver value-driven services to Honeywell clients and customers. Maintain strong relationships with customer representatives, end users, and service recipients. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support. Respond effectively to customer needs while operating under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions. Provide customers with recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades, helping identify opportunities for additional Honeywell solutions and services. Service Maintenance & Technical Support Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance activities in accordance with service contract requirements. Diagnose and resolve system faults using advanced troubleshooting techniques. Maintain site-specific documentation and quality assurance records as directed by supervisors. Support customers during service calls and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Be available to perform duties outside normal working hours when required by SLA’s and customer commitments. Team Leadership & Resource Management Lead and coordinate Engineers, Technicians, Vendors, and other resources to deliver maintenance and support services. Provide guidance and oversight to field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work. Manage team performance to consistently exceed customer and Honeywell expectations. Work effectively with minimal supervision while directing contractors and service personnel as needed. Project Execution & Delivery Manage service-related projects, including system alterations, additions, and retrofit works. Supervise field installations and commissioning activities for service projects and reactive work orders. Support project managers on large-scale projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Determine equipment and accessory requirements and communicate needs to the Field Service Leader (FSL) or Field Service Supervisor (FSS). Assist with project cost tracking, progress reporting, and resource planning. Sales & Business Development Support Identify and develop new sales opportunities during project and service engagements. Prepare and propose small-work quotations and coordinate execution upon customer approval. Support sales teams by providing technical input, maintenance recommendations, and preliminary cost estimates. Estimate material quantities and costs and provide information to the FSL, FSS, and Service Sales teams. Contribute to achieving service performance metrics and regional AOP targets. Safety & Compliance Adhere to all Honeywell Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, and regulatory requirements. Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational best practices. Experience & Qualifications Education & Experience Engineering Degree or Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience in Building Automation systems. Strong passion for technology, customer service, and continuous learning. Technical Expertise Advanced knowledge of: Building Management Systems (BMS) Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) Honeywell Security Solutions Additional expertise in the following is highly desirable: CCTV Systems Digital Video Management (DVM) Honeywell Access Control Systems Honeywell Intrusion Detection Systems Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis capabilities.
