Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician At Modig Machine Tool, you will have the opportunity to work with high-performance machines and world-class technology. We are currently looking for a technically skilled service and installation technician who wants to ensure the success of our customers worldwide. As a field service technician at Modig, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of our machines. The role also includes training customers in machine operation and handover procedures. The work involves international travel. Most trips are planned well in advance, but on occasion, short-notice travel may be required. When you are not on-site with customers, you will work with machines in our own facility in Kalmar. We are looking for someone who is technically skilled and has experience in field installation and service work. Experience with CNC or machining equipment is preferred, along with strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, control and regulation technology, and hydraulics. You are independent, responsible, solution-oriented, communicative, and customer-focused. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required, and a valid driver’s license (B) is necessary.
