Field Service Technician

We are looking for someone to join our team as Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician provides on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, repairs and training across all product lines. Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email. Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs. Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair. Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required). Provide on-site training to the customers Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service. Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock. Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced. Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines. Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position. Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus. This position requires a highly motivated individual that is capable of completing assigned tasks with little to no supervision. This position requires a technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline. Bachelor degree and/or engineering degree in the related areas are a plus. The ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and tools for repairs is required. Preferred candidates will have at least three years’ experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments. Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
