Job Summary: The Field Support Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing key operational support programs that enable field employees to perform their work safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role manages company fleet operations, uniforms, safety footwear programs, and tool procurement initiatives while ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and a high level of service for field personnel. The Field Support Manager works closely with Operations, Safety, Human Resources, Finance, and vendor partners to maintain standards, control costs, and support business growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fleet Management Manage all aspects of the company's vehicle fleet, including procurement, assignments, maintenance, repairs, licensing, registrations, fuel programs, and vehicle replacements. Monitor preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime and reliability. Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards related to fleet operations. Monitor fleet utilization and operating expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Coordinate with vendors, dealerships, leasing companies, and service providers to negotiate favorable pricing and service agreements. Maintain accurate fleet records, reporting, and performance metrics. Uniform Program Administration Oversee the company-wide field employee uniform program. Manage uniform inventory levels, ordering, distribution, replacement, and vendor relationships. Ensure field employees receive appropriate uniforms in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards. Track program costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality. Maintain accurate records of uniform issuance and inventory usage. Safety Shoe Program Management Manage and continuously improve the company's safety shoe program. Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure employees have access to compliant and quality footwear. Monitor program participation, expenditures, and effectiveness. Ensure alignment with company safety initiatives and safety requirements. Communicate eligibility, ordering procedures, and program updates to employees and managers. Operational Leadership Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for assigned programs. Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet, uniforms, safety footwear, and tools. Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding program performance, budgets, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with field leaders, safety personnel, and department managers to support business needs. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and service quality. Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for assigned programs. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in fleet management, operations, facilities support, procurement, asset management, or a related field. Experience managing vendor relationships, purchasing programs, and operational budgets. Experience supporting field service organizations or multi-location operations preferred. Strong understanding of fleet management principles, vehicle maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and fleet, inventory, or asset management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
