Introduction:

A high-growth global finance consultancy working with venture-backed tech, AI, and fintech companies is currently seeking a remote Finance Analyst to join their team.

This is a hands-on role sitting between accounting and FP&A, combining responsibility for accurate financial information and month-end processes with exposure to forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting and commercial finance.

You’ll work across multiple high-growth businesses while gaining exposure to senior finance professionals and modern, AI-enabled finance processes. The role is ideal for someone early in their career who has strong accounting fundamentals, is naturally curious and wants to develop into broader FP&A and strategic finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive accurate and timely financial reporting, including group reporting, management accounts, and analysis of key financial metrics
• Deliver FP&A and commercial analysis across product margins, costs, and unit economics to support business decision-making
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements, working closely with internal teams and banking partners
• Oversee client treasury requirements, including float planning, treasury transfers, and maintaining robust, audit-ready controls
• Strengthen financial controls and support core finance activities including month-end, tax, statutory and group audits
• Improve reporting and finance processes while supporting wider initiatives across intercompany funding and the employee share scheme

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified CA (SA), AGA (SA), CGMA or PA (SA) with minimum 1-3 years’ experience within accounting, bookkeeping, audit or a broader finance role
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and month-end processes, including how the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement connect.
• Comfortable working with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite or similar, alongside strong Excel / Google Sheets capability.
• Existing hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or similar in your work, with an interest in automation and improving finance processes.
• Curious, analytical and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of deadlines and an interest in developing further across FP&A, commercial finance and strategic analysis.

Salary:

• R700,000 - 900,000 CTC / year
