Position Overview We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-paced, creator-driven agency environment. This is an entry-level hybrid role across accounts payable and receivable, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, highly autonomous, and thrives in a high-volume, transactional environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial tracking, timely payments, and seamless coordination across internal teams, talent managers, and brand partners. Key Responsibilities Support the team in the processing of vendor invoices, creator payments, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness Verify and reconcile invoices against contracts, SOWs, and internal approvals Maintain vendor records and support onboarding of new vendors/creators Generate and issue client invoices aligned to campaign deliverables Maintain AR aging reports and flag risks or delays Investigate and resolve irregularities, including billing issues and discrepancies Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances Apply payments based on remittance details and work to minimize or eliminate unapplied cash. Perform data entry of financial transactions Maintain accurate financial records across systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Lumi) Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for internal financial inquiries (Slack channel and finance email inbox) Support Finance team on audits, reporting, and compliance General administrative support and special projects when assigned Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support Internship or co-op experience in finance/accounting is required if no full-time working experience Experience in agency, media, or talent environment is a strong plus Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AP/AR, reconciliations) High attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities Self-starter with strong autonomy and problem-solving mindset Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets At Kensington Grey, we believe in fostering a dynamic and rewarding work environment where talent thrives.
