Finance Assistant Apprentice | 10944 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £25,989 to £26,403 per annum (Scale D) | County Hall This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in Finance within a Finance Information Management & Technology support team environment (myOracle Support Team). You will join an enthusiastic and diverse team in a large organisation and benefit from a structured programme of training and development. The level of responsibility and complexity of work will increase as your knowledge and skill increases. The level of supervision will also reduce appropriately over the training period. The initial starting grade is D. Progression to grade E will be considered after 12 months, subject to competency and course progress, and confirmed on success completion of the apprenticeship. You will access several financial systems carrying out various maintenance tasks and administering user access whilst studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) level 2 and level 3 qualification. You must show commitment to studying and attend all training. You will need to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing an efficient and effective point of contact for customers which include NCC staff and users from partner organisations. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of customers from different services and colleagues, while working in a pressurised environment. Please note that this is a hybrid role that will involve both remote and regular on-site working.
