Role Overview The Finance Manager supports the Finance function through hands-on involvement in month-end close and recurring financial reporting , while delivering high-quality analytical support related to contract renewals, profitability, and cost management across all entities. The role requires strong financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles and their impact on financial performance and reporting. Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Actively contribute to month-end close activities for assigned entities, including: Review the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, identify issues, and prepare or support corrective entries as required per IFRS regulations Perform monthly account reviews and reconciliations, including accruals, provisions, and other accounting estimates Prepare variance analyses and financial commentary Operate effectively across multiple financial systems and data structures, with the ability to reconcile and align differing chart of accounts and cost center hierarchies Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time Support the preparation of recurring financial reporting packages for management and stakeholders Maintain clear documentation and audit-ready backups for key close processes, analyses, and models Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support audit and review activities Business Partnering Perform profitability analyses for entities under responsibility and products Analyze revenue trends, margins, and key cost drivers Ensure proper revenue recognition, ARR tracking, and KPI calculations Provide support for other Finance / FP&A requests Deliver clear, structured, and actionable financial insights to support management decision-making Provide financial modeling and analytical support to business teams as required Support ongoing cost management and expense oversight initiatives Financial Modeling & Analytical Support Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support: Month-end and ARR analysis Revenue and margin analysis Profitability and cost analysis Contract, customer, project, and invoicing analysis Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making Standardize and improve models used in close and reporting processes Automate recurring calculations where appropriate to improve efficiency and consistency Ensure all models and outputs are aligned with IFRS accounting policies Contract Renewals & Invoicing — All Entities Perform and validate contract renewal calculations and accounting in accordance with IFRS 15 Assess renewal impacts on revenue, margins, and revenue recognition timing Provide finance oversight for pricing validation, contract calculations, and approvals Support invoicing activities, including interim invoicing between renewal cycles Maintain accurate contract, amendment, and renewal data to support billing, revenue recognition, and management reporting Profile & Qualifications Experience & Technical Skills Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting Advanced financial modeling skills used to support analysis and decision-making Working knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition concepts Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI or reporting tools is considered an asset Experience (or willingness to learn) using AI to automate process and increase efficiency Comfortable operating in a multi-entity and fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences Strong business acumen and understanding of the operational drivers that influence financial performance Ability to build trusted relationships and influence business partners' decision-making Constructive critical thinking: ability to challenge assumptions and provide concrete recommendations Education & Professional Requirements Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting CPA designation required Experience in private equity and/or SaaS environments is a strong asset Required: Authorized to work in Canada—unfortunately we are not able to sponsor work visas or transfers at this time.
