The role: You will report directly to the Head of Finance and work very closely with the rest of the finance team, leading the accounting and controlling areas. You will collaborate cross-functionally across the company, from the business data team when it comes to making sure we're pulling the right numbers, to heads of department who need to understand and own their budgets as the company grows. You will also be the main point of contact for our external accounting firms and auditors. This is a position with autonomy, visibility, and real impact, designed for someone who wants to take a meaningful step forward in their career and combine analytical rigor with hands-on execution. What will you be working on? Accounting orchestration (~30%) Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with external accounting firms across all entities. Own balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, tax compliance, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Lead the annual audit process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors. Controlling & budget management (~20%) Own budget vs. actuals reporting, financial models, and forecasting. Lead monthly budget reviews with department heads and provide actionable insights. Prepare KPI reporting for leadership and board meetings. Process improvement & automation (~20%) Identify opportunities to improve and automate finance processes using AI. Eliminate manual work and increase efficiency through scalable workflows. Document key processes to support team growth. Procurement & invoice control (~15%) Own the Procure-to-Pay process, including invoice approvals and spend tracking. Review invoices and vendor contracts to ensure accuracy and business relevance. Monitor vendor spend and identify optimization opportunities. Cash forecasting (~15%) Maintain rolling cash forecasts and monitor liquidity across entities. Ensure sufficient cash to support payroll and operational expenses. Proactively identify cash flow risks and opportunities. You would be great fit if you have: 2–6 years of experience , including 3+ years in audit (Big 4 or equivalent) ; startup or scale-up experience is a plus. Strong accounting fundamentals , with experience managing month-end closings, financial statements, and external audits. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and strong analytical abilities. A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset , with the ability to thrive in ambiguity. Fluency in English and French We're also investing heavily in AI and automation, so we're looking for someone who loves challenging the status quo and using technology to replace manual work, not just manage it.
