Opportunity Overview

Our client is a growing UK print and direct mail group, currently completing its third acquisition and building out a group-level finance function. They need a Finance Manager to own monthly management reporting across the group's subsidiaries, starting with one site before rolling out across the wider group.

Role Description

You will produce the monthly management reporting packs that give leadership a clear view of group performance. Working closely with the CFO, you will build on existing reporting templates and roll them out as the group scales through acquisition. Over time you will help move the group toward a consolidated management accounts view. This is a hands-on role for someone who works accurately and independently within a defined framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting packs - Produce monthly MBR packs covering P&L, YTD, forecast, balance sheet and cash.
• Template rollout - Roll out the reporting template across subsidiaries as the group scales.
• Group consolidation - Move the group toward a consolidated group-level management accounts view.
• CFO support - Support the CFO with accurate, timely financial information on an ongoing basis.
• UK compliance - Apply UK accounting frameworks and practices consistently across all group reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• English Fluency - Fluent, excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for this role.
• Reporting experience - 2-5 years in a management accounts or financial reporting role.
• Template fluency - Comfortable building on and working within existing reporting templates, not from scratch.
• UK exposure - Experience working with or for UK companies is strongly preferred.
• Relevant degree - Degree in finance, accounting or a similar numerate discipline.
• Written English - Strong written English for clear, professional financial reporting and communication.
• Independent working - Meticulous, proactive and able to work independently within a clear framework.

Bonus Qualifications

• Recognised university - Finance or accounting degree from an internationally recognised university.
• UK finance legislation - Hands-on experience applying UK finance legislation in a reporting role.
