Position: Finance Manager Location: Remote (U.S.-based; Central or Mountain time zones only) Schedule: Full-time Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 Job Summary: This is a dual-scope role for someone who wants to own both fixed assets and forward-looking financial planning for a growing manufacturing company. Our client is in the middle of a significant finance team rebuild, recent turnover has left gaps in core accounting and planning functions, and leadership is moving quickly to bring in strong talent who can bring structure to fixed asset accounting while also building out budgeting and forecasting. NOW CFO consultants will be on the ground guiding the process and supporting the team as things get sorted out, but this is still a role for someone who's comfortable stepping into some ambiguity and bringing order to it. If you're comfortable managing complexity across two disciplines and energized by building processes rather than just running them, this role is built for you. Responsibilities Fixed Asset Accounting Manage fixed asset accounting for new and existing assets, including depreciation and asset tracking Account for capitalized construction interest on active construction projects in accordance with GAAP Support management of a new facility build-out, including tracking costs through a lease-back arrangement Ensure fixed asset records stay accurate and audit-ready as the company expands its physical footprint FP&A Own budgeting and forecasting processes Support commodity or raw material hedging accounting, including mark-to-market and margin call tracking Partner with leadership to provide financial planning insight as the business scales Deliver clear, actionable reporting to support business decisions Technology & Process Support the company's transition to a new ERP system Identify opportunities to streamline fixed asset and FP&A processes as the finance function matures Required Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including fixed asset accounting and FP&A Acumatica experience MUST-HAVE Experience with GAAP treatment of capitalized construction interest Budgeting and forecasting experience Ownership mentality, self-directed, accountable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, still-being-built environment Central or Mountain time zone availability Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing industry background Experience with commodity, futures, or hedging accounting Comfort learning industry-specific accounting nuances #IND2
