The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support studio operations and long-term strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, managing cost control, and ensuring accurate accounting records in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also involve supporting management with financial insights, assessing financial risks, and contributing to investment and resource allocation decisions for current and future game projects. The Finance Manager will work closely with leadership to maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies while optimizing financial performance. Qualifications
Strong skills in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Experience with accounting principles, financial reporting, and management of cash flow and cost control.
Proficiency with finance and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a distributed, remote team.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a finance management or senior finance role; experience in gaming, tech, or digital entertainment industries is a plus.
Comfort working across different jurisdictions and understanding of international financial practices is beneficial.
