As a Finance Operations Associate , you will support the Finance team in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations. You will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, processing operational payments, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring that accounting processes are executed efficiently and in line with company policies. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is eager to develop strong operational accounting skills in a fast-paced technology environment. Responsibilities Accounts Reconciliation : Prepare account reconciliation reports to secure accuracy of the month-end closing procedure Transaction Tracking : Review, and monitor daily transactions, ensuring that financial records are up-to-date and accurately reflect the company's financial activities. Invoice & Cost Management : Review the process of invoices registration including the cost allocation, providing a solid foundation for accurate financial reporting and decision-making. Month-End Procedures : Contribute to the monthly closing process, meticulously ensuring all month-end tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Pay close attention to reporting and operating expense accruals. Expense Review : Thoroughly review daily expenses, adhering to internal procedures to validate accuracy and compliance with company policies. Operational Payments : Execute daily operational payments, demonstrating precision in financial transactions and safeguarding the company's financial integrity. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master’s is considered a plus. 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or finance operations role. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial data. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English. Experience in the technology sector, startup environment, or travel industry is a plus. Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and continuously improve. Friendly, collaborative, and proactive attitude. Digital native, comfortable working with modern tools and technologies.
