Key Responsibilities

• Design domain-relevant insurance scenarios spanning underwriting, claims, and risk assessment and produce accurate, well-reasoned solutions grounded in professional practice
• Evaluate model outputs against structured scoring rubrics, delivering precise written feedback on factual correctness, reasoning quality, and underwriting judgment
• Develop and continuously refine evaluation guidelines and rubrics specific to insurance task categories
• Identify and articulate knowledge gaps to research and engineering teams, translating complex domain logic into actionable guidance
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of training data in collaboration with fellow subject matter experts across insurance disciplines

Core Requirements

• Deep professional background in insurance underwriting, claims, actuarial, or risk management at a recognized top-tier carrier, brokerage, or equivalent institution
• Prior direct experience evaluating LLM outputs against rubrics or structured scoring criteria; application must describe this experience specifically
• Demonstrated career progression within the insurance function (e.g., Underwriter through VP-level or equivalent)
• Ability to commit reliably to weekday engagement at 35+ hours per week
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to articulate nuanced reasoning clearly and concisely
