Finance Specialist 📍 DTAC Facilities (Hybrid / On-site as needed) 🕒 Full-Time | Exempt Position Summary The Finance Specialist supports DTAC’s financial operations with a focus on accounts payable, accounting support, rate management, and financial analysis. This role ensures accurate financial processing, maintains strong internal controls, and supports leadership through reporting, reconciliations, and rate-setting activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial stability, audit readiness, and rate accuracy across behavioral health programs, including IBHS and ABA services. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to contracts, approvals, and rate schedules Maintain organized AP records for audit purposes Resolve vendor discrepancies and respond to inquiries Prepare and process weekly payment runs Accounting Support Assist with month-end close activities (accruals, reconciliations) Support general ledger review and variance analysis Maintain financial documentation and schedules Assist with bank and account reconciliations Support preparation of financial reports Rate Management & Financial Analysis Maintain and update payer and program rate tables Support rate-setting through modeling and financial analysis Implement updated rates following contract changes Monitor systems for rate discrepancies and resolve issues Provide reporting support for payer negotiations Compliance & Audit Support Ensure compliance with internal controls and funding requirements Assist with internal and external audits Maintain audit-ready financial documentation Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with Contracts, Operations, and Leadership teams Support budget tracking and expense monitoring Assist with special finance projects Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or finance support roles Strong Excel skills (formulas, reconciliations, tracking) High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and PHI information Preferred Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or Medicaid-funded environments Familiarity with contracts, reimbursement models, or payer rate structures Experience supporting audits or financial reviews Working Conditions Hybrid work environment based on departmental needs Standard office setting Occasional extended hours during month-end close and audits Travel to program sites or corporate office as needed Why Join DTAC?
