Position: Accountant – International Finance Team (Remote, Europe)

Location: Remote – Anywhere in Europe

Travel: Approximately 40% across Europe

Our client, a globally recognised organisation, is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to join its international Accounting & Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, international environment and is keen to contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

.Working remotely from anywhere in Europe, the successful candidate will partner with finance teams and key stakeholders across multiple countries, supporting accounting activities while bringing a strong audit mindset to the role. Regular travel across Europe (approximately 40%) will be required, so candidates must be based within easy reach of an international airport

Key Responsibiliti

• esSupport the international Accounting & Finance team across multiple European location
• s.Apply audit knowledge to strengthen financial processes, controls, and complianc
• e.Perform controls testing and assist with reviewing financial procedures to identify areas for improvemen
• t.Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure consistent accounting standards and best practice
• s.Analyse financial and operational data to support decision-making and process improvement
• s.Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency within finance and accounting activitie
• s.Travel regularly across Europe to collaborate with local finance teams and business stakeholder

Candidate Prof

• ileQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalen
• t).Previous experience within a Big 10 accounting firm or an in-house audit/accounting functi
• on.Strong exposure to external audit and/or internal audit process
• es.3-5 years experience within audit or accounti
• ng.Proficient in completing financial healthcare che
• cksExperience performing controls testing and evaluating financial contro
• ls.Comfortable analysing data and using technology to improve business process
• es.Experience using AI tools, data analytics platforms, or solutions such as Claude would be highly advantageo
