Work with US Clients | Own the Full Accounting Cycle

MAVI partners with high-growth US businesses, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly into their finance operations. In South Africa, we build partnerships with accounting professionals ready to step into leadership - owning finance operations for US companies in lean, high-ownership environments.

This is not a traditional back-office role. You will lead accounting for US clients where financial discipline, operational understanding, and direct business partnership drive real outcomes.

This role is ideal for professionals who want stable US-facing work, broader ownership, and the opportunity to work closely with US Controllers and business leaders.

What You Will Own:

• Manage full-cycle accounting under US GAAP
• Lead month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
• Produce financial reports and schedules
• Partner directly with US stakeholders
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Support audit preparation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years US GAAP accounting experience
• Experience handling end-to-end accounting
• Strong month-end close ownership
• Experience working with US clients
• ERP experience (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero or similar)
• Strong English communication skills
