Financial Analyst I - FP&A Cost Analytics

About the role: In this role, you will analyze financial information, trends, and forecasts to support strategic business decisions. You will develop complex models, reporting, and analytics to provide P&L insights, support various projects, and prepare ad hoc analysis for management. In this role you will: Analyze financial information, including trends and forecasts. Perform detailed data analytics to extract and allocate sub-ledger financial transactions Develop, evaluate, and monitor complex models and reporting. Create models and analytics to enable P&L views for products and various projects. Prepare ad hoc analysis for management. Perform time studies as needed What makes You an ideal candidate? Ability to develop skillset of financial analysis software (i.e., Oracle EPM, Oracle EBS, Cognos). Introductory knowledge of financial models and tools such as NPV, IRR, etc. Maintain working knowledge of data/information sources. Knowledge of data analytics and programming languages such as SQL and Python Understanding of common database structures and querying strategies Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) or like products. Ability to effectively translate knowledge into feasible strategies, policies and processes. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to manage projects. Ability to read and interpret financial documents. Ability to use historical trends to develop dynamic models. Ability to work well with all levels of management. Analytical and quantitative skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Good excel skills (i.e., recording and debugging macros, charting, pivot tables). Good presentation and business writing skills. Good validation skills Additional Knowledge and Skills Working effectively within an AI enabled environment: Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection Normal office environment.
