Summary: Supports Savers’ pricing strategy by providing timely and accurate analysis to enable sound business decisions and optimiz e pricing profitability . Key responsibilities i nclude supporting current and future pricing models , price and selection analytics, new merchandise program support, and ad-hoc financial analysis. The Financial Analyst , Pricing reports to the Sr. Manager , Pricing . Essential Job Functions: Analyze pricing performance at the category , brand, store, and market level s Act as subject matter expert on pricing, identifying areas of pricing underperformance and effectively leveraging data to share insights Support product pricing strategy through related reporting , analysis, projects , innovations, and process improvements Support new merchandise strategy , inventory planning and analysis Implement and independently manage all pricing systems Engage with and build complex financial modeling to develop and maintain routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis Deliver informative, well-organized presentations to leadership Communicate analysis effectively with key stakeholders ( field operations, corporate leadership) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong Excel/Access skills Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions Ability to interact with all levels of the organization Ability to communicate well orally and in writing Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information Ability to connect complex operational metrics to financial results Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field 2 years ’ experience in Finance or a combination of education and experience that yields the required Finance knowledge, skills & abilities R etail or manufacturing experience preferred Physical Requirements: The ability to communicate and understand the spoken word is important as well Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make the discriminations in sound Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic) FLSA Status Exempt Tools and Equipment Used: Laptop or desktop computer, phone, copy machine, etc. Travel: Travel 10% or less We’re an equal opportunity employer: All team members and job applicants will be treated fairly, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, gender or gender identity or any other factor protected by law.
