About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst (Entry-Level) to join our finance team in Australia.
The successful candidate will support financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business-performance analysis.
This position is suitable for recent graduates, university graduates, and early-career professionals who are looking to develop practical experience in corporate finance, financial planning, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with Finance and other business teams to prepare financial information, analyze business performance, and support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial analysis and preparation of management reports.
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial and business data.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial models.
- Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, expenses, and key financial metrics.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.
- Identify trends, variances, and potential areas of financial improvement.
- Prepare variance analysis and investigate significant differences.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Support cash-flow and working-capital analysis where required.
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets, financial schedules, and management presentations.
- Assist with developing financial dashboards and KPI reports.
- Validate financial data and investigate discrepancies.
- Work with accounting and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support business cases and financial analysis for projects and investments.
- Assist with scenario analysis and basic financial modelling.
- Conduct research on market, industry, and business-performance trends.
- Translate financial information into clear and practical business insights.
- Maintain accurate documentation for financial models, reports, and analysis.
- Support process improvements and automation within the finance function.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
- Perform other financial-analysis duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are welcome to apply.
- Internship or university project experience in finance, accounting, investment, or data analysis is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, sorting, filtering, and PivotTables.
- Familiarity with financial modelling is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with ERP, accounting, or financial systems is an advantage.
- Relevant finance, accounting, or analytical certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
