Financial Controller (Philippines/Remote)

Our client is a Norwegian owned technology group operating across Norway, the Netherlands, Singapore, Denmark and the UAE. They're appointing their first dedicated Financial Controller, reporting to the Group CFO, to take full ownership of consolidation, close, audit and statutory reporting across the group.

What you'll own

• Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation (NOK/USD), intercompany elimination and acquisition accounting
• Month-end/year-end close and balance sheet integrity; revenue recognition for a subscription software business
• External audit as sole point of ownership, and statutory filings across Norway, Netherlands and Singapore
• Management reporting, budgeting/reforecasting, SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR/GRR) and cash flow reporting

What you'll need

• Qualified accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA), 5–8+ years PQE, 3+ years in a controller/group accountant ownership role
• Hands-on experience building or running a multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
• Strong IFRS command; personally owned a month-end close
• Big Four (or equivalent) experience would be beneficial
• Advanced QuickBooks experience, ideally as an operator
• The ability to work in a proactive, professional and accurate manner in a remote setting is absolutely essential
• Nordic/Singapore/Netherlands statutory exposure strongly preferred
