The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within retail or corporate banking environments, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met in financial crime prevention and detection processes. Key Accountabilities Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews of financial crime processes, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to anti-money laundering (AML), fraud prevention, and other financial crime controls. Identify gaps or weaknesses in controls and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Collaborate with business units, compliance, and risk teams to support remediation activities and process enhancements. Prepare detailed reports and documentation on QA/QC findings and present insights to senior stakeholders. Support audit activities and regulatory inspections by providing evidence of quality control measures. Skills/Basic Qualifications: Proven experience in QA or QC roles within financial crime functions, preferably in a large banking environment. Strong understanding of retail and/or corporate banking operations related to financial crime risk. In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, sanctions, fraud detection, and financial crime frameworks. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify control weaknesses. Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders and present findings clearly. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or equivalent. Experience working within large multinational banks or financial institutions. Familiarity with financial crime technology platforms and data analytics tools. #Li-hybrid
