JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations and help lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This is more than a traditional back-office role. You’ll play an important part in keeping our financial operations accurate, organized, and efficient while providing financial insights that support business growth and strategic decision-making. If you have strong accounting and finance experience, leadership skills, and a passion for improving processes, we’d love to hear from you.

• Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, bookkeeping, and other financial activities
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare monthly financial reports and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support informed business decisions
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Identify and implement improvements to financial workflows, systems, and procedures
• Establish efficient processes and maintain strong financial controls and accountability

• 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance
• Experience managing and leading remote teams
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to balance accountability, leadership, and coaching
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
