Strategic Finance Expert

Role Overview

As a Strategic Finance Specialist, you will develop high-quality finance work products, including business cases, capital allocation reviews, and market analyses, to support strategic decision-making and cost reduction initiatives.

$85-$100 per hour | 10-40 hrs/week | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Build business cases and investment appraisals using NPV, IRR, and payback metrics.
• Produce capital allocation determinations and rank investments against hurdle rates.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses of corporate plans across demand, pricing, and cost.
• Analyze pricing and discount economics to support price setting and deal desk approvals.
• Perform market sizing and competitive landscape analysis for cost reduction programs.

Core Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning.
• Experience in ownership of a capital or pricing decision presented to a leadership forum.
• Management consulting or Big 4 strategy background is advantageous.
• Experience in growth equity or deal desk and pricing strategy is beneficial.
