Fire Practice Leader

Responsibilities Lead and manage the fire practice group, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. Oversee and conduct complex fire investigations, analysis, and reporting. Develop strategies to grow the fire practice and expand client relationships. Provide technical mentorship and training to fire practice team members. Collaborate with legal, insurance, and engineering professionals to support claims and litigation. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in fire science. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all fire investigations. Prepare and present technical findings to clients, courts, and industry forums. Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in fire investigation and forensic analysis. Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams. In-depth knowledge of fire dynamics, investigation methodologies, and fire prevention codes. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Professional certifications such as CFIF (Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator) or equivalent are highly desirable. Proficiency with fire modeling software and investigation tools.
