Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the manufacturing or fire safety industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or national sales management role. Proven track record of lead generation, client acquisition, sales pipeline management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in business administration or a related discipline. Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability and desire to learn, strategize, and implement at the highest level. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Established network within the manufacturing fire safety industry. Responsibilities: Become the Lakeland industry expert of the commercial fire market including products, trends, needs, sales cycle, and all that makes this industry unique in the fire service. Develop and implement regional and national sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the manufacturing fire safety market. Develop a framework that can be replicated across the U.S. and Canada. Work with Lakeland’s industrial dealer base to identify prospective accounts and HSE managers and develop needs-based solutions for each opportunity. Build, train, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and potential customers to foster long-term partnerships. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with company goals. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote products and services.
