・ "TECH PORTAL" (New Business – "0-to-1" Phase)

TECH PORTAL is a new service designed to support the recruitment of STEM and tech talent.

In an increasingly competitive hiring landscape, it provides a mechanism for companies to connect with students early on and build meaningful relationships. It implements a platform where universities and companies collaborate to "co-educate" students, fostering skill development and broadening their perspectives from their early years of university.

【Job description】

■ Background: We want to increase the number of engineers who can drive projects forward, not just handle development. As our business and product offerings expand, the scope of what we want to build naturally grows as well.

While our current engineers possess strong technical skills, a key challenge for the team is a shortage of individuals who can take the lead in driving projects forward—handling tasks such as refining requirements with Product Managers (PdMs) and designers, breaking down decisions into actionable development tasks, and managing progress while coordinating with stakeholders.

Currently, Engineering Managers (EMs) often shoulder these responsibilities alongside their duties in people management and organizational development. Therefore, for this role, we are looking for someone who is eager to expand their scope beyond hands-on development to gradually take on project leadership responsibilities.

You do not need years of prior experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Project Leader (PL).

This position is ideal for those who:

"Have mastered the basics of development and want to take the next step in their career."

"Are interested in PM or PL roles but lack opportunities to gain that experience in their current environment."

■ Specific Responsibilities

Upon joining, you will initially focus on product development as an engineer. From there, depending on your experience and areas of expertise, we envision you becoming involved in requirement refinement and project management.

・Design, development, and operation of web applications using Go and TypeScript

・Refining requirements and discussing specifications with PdMs and designers

・Organizing and prioritizing development tasks; managing progress and issues

・Designing and improving the product with a view toward medium- to long-term growth

・Coordinating and managing progress with external partners

We do not expect you to handle everything from day one.

We want you to first gain an understanding of the product and the team through development work, and then gradually expand your scope to include requirement refinement, project management, and other leadership tasks.

▼ Required Qualifications

・ Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2

・ Practical experience in web application development (ideally 3–5+ years; no specific language required)

・ Foundational knowledge of computer science (algorithms, OS, networking, etc.)

・ A desire to take on roles driving projects, such as PM (Project Manager) or PL (Project Leader), in the future

・ An interest in being involved in requirements definition and project management, not just implementation
