About OpenLoop OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states. About the Role OpenLoop's mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. The Systems & Formulary team owns the configuration that determines how every medication order flows — what products exist in our platform, at what dose and cadence, in which states, and to which pharmacy partner. That work is currently concentrated in one person. With roughly 5,000 SKUs built to date and new builds going out daily across multiple service lines, there's no trained backup and no capacity to run concurrent projects. This role adds that capacity. As Formulary & Systems Analyst II , you'll translate approved clinical protocols and pharmacy-supplied product specifications into working configuration in our ordering platform — coordinating with the teams who depend on each build and confirming everything tests correctly before it goes live. The clinical content is defined by our clinical team and documented by pharmacists; your job is to render it in the system exactly and catch it when something doesn't reconcile. The work is detailed and consequential: what you configure is what patients receive. What You'll Do Configure and test SKUs in our ordering platform — medication, strength, dose level, and fill cadence — translating approved clinical protocols and pharmacy-supplied product specifications into platform values. Configure titration schedules as defined by the clinical protocol and documented by our pharmacy team, confirming each dose level maps to the correct product, strength, and quantity in the system. Reconcile protocol requirements against what each pharmacy actually carries: when an available concentration differs from the protocol's stated strength, calculate the corresponding unit and volume values for configuration, and route any discrepancy you can't resolve arithmetically back to clinical or pharmacy for confirmation rather than making a judgment call. Coordinate every build across the teams that depend on it — Clinical (so providers are trained on new medications), Implementation (so billing and client setup are ready), and pharmacy partners (so the medication tests correctly and capacity exists) — so nothing goes live half-configured. Join project intake meetings with cross-functional leads, work with them to define exactly what needs to be built, and own delivery of your assigned projects end to end. Prioritize and sequence your own work across concurrent builds and competing project deadlines, escalating conflicts rather than letting deliverables slip. Test each configuration before activating it for provider ordering, and troubleshoot when something doesn't behave as expected. Execute state-by-state routing and volume-move changes in the platform as directed by capacity and SLA guidance from the planning team. Support 50-state coverage by identifying and closing assigned configuration gaps across clinical protocols. Monitor pharmacy integrations for configuration errors, troubleshoot within scope, and escalate systemic issues. Surface platform issues to our development team with clear detail on what's breaking, and suggest how it could work better. Document build procedures and keep them current as configurations change. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are You're precise, and you stay precise on work that repeats. You're also the kind of person who notices when a piece is missing — when a request doesn't quite add up, you go find out who else needs to know rather than building what was asked and letting it break downstream. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience. 3+ years in a configuration, operations, analyst, or coordinator role where accuracy carried real consequence. Exceptional attention to detail, with the discipline to hold accuracy on repetitive, structured work. Strong communication skills, with the instinct to proactively loop in the right people rather than waiting to be asked. Demonstrated problem-solving: given an incomplete picture, you identify what's missing, figure out who to ask, and resolve it. Track record of managing your own workload across concurrent deliverables with minimal oversight. Ability to learn a proprietary internal system quickly and work in it confidently. Proficiency with spreadsheets (lookups, pivot tables, structured data). Persistence. This work gets difficult and detailed, and the people who do it well stay with it. Preferred Qualifications Experience configuring products, catalogs, or SKUs in an internal platform or ordering system. Healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated-operations exposure Experience with EHR, pharmacy management, e-commerce, or workflow-configuration systems. Exposure to APIs, JSON, or systems integrations. Experience working from controlled specifications, protocols, or approved documentation where the source of truth sits with another team. SQL familiarity. Startup or high-growth environment experience.
