Job Description This is a remote position. Location: Remote Engagement Type: Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35) Duration: 6 months with auto renew Timezone : CET ± 3 hours Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients in the Information Technology (IT), and Managed Services sector is looking for an experienced Fortinet Network Security Engineer to support and manage enterprise security infrastructure. Key Deliverables ​ Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet security solutions, including: FortiGate Firewalls FortiManager FortiAnalyzer FortiClient (VPN) Administer and support network security infrastructure across multiple environments. Design and implement secure network architectures based on customer requirements. Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and access control management. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network and security incidents. Implement and maintain VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN). Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) as applicable. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver secure and scalable solutions. Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on-call rotation if required. Maintain accurate technical documentation and change management records. ​ Requirements Ideal Profile 5–8+ years of experience in network/security engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with: FortiGate firewall configuration & troubleshooting FortiManager & FortiAnalyzer Solid understanding of: TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) VLANs, NAT, VPNs Network security principles Experience managing large-scale or enterprise networks. Proficiency in log analysis and incident troubleshooting. Familiarity with cloud security (Azure/AWS) is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
