Forward-Deployed Full-Stack / Platform Engineer

Role Description

As a Forward-Deployed Full-Stack / Platform Engineer, you will be a core contributor

to Necora’s product and engineering culture in a full-time, remote role. You will design, build,

and maintain full-stack features and platform components that integrate with real data-center

environments, from backend services and APIs to frontend interfaces used by operations

teams. Your day-to-day work will include developing production-quality code, troubleshooting

complex issues across the stack, and collaborating closely with customers and internal

stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust technical solutions. You will help shape

system architecture, improve performance and reliability, and contribute to infrastructure and

deployment practices. As an early team member, you will also influence product direction,

engineering standards, and best practices while working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative

setting.

Qualifications

• Strong programming and software development skills (e.g., modern backend and frontend

languages, frameworks, and tooling).

• Experience designing and managing infrastructure components (e.g., cloud platforms,

containerization, CI/CD, observability).

• Proficiency working with databases (e.g., relational and/or NoSQL), including schema design,

performance tuning, and data modeling.

• Advanced troubleshooting abilities across distributed systems, application layers, and

production environments.

• Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications in production, with attention to

security, scalability, and reliability.

• Comfort engaging with customers or users to understand operational workflows and translate

them into product requirements.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment, manage priorities, and

communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience with data centers or industrial systems is a plus.
