Founding Director – Business Development (AI Fintech, Stealth)

Build the best AI fintech out there. From day one.

Our client is an early-stage fintech building agentic-AI infrastructure for financial services: payments and onboarding automation, card solutions, crypto transaction monitoring, and fiat on-ramp/off-ramp. The core platform is live. Now they need a founding commercial leader to turn it into the category winner.

This is not a job. It's a cofounder seat with director-level, compliance responsibility and meaningful equity.

What you'll own

• Business development end-to-end: pipeline, partnerships, and first flagship clients — PSPs, EMIs, banks, card programs, and crypto platforms.
• Product direction from the client side: you understand with clients, find the pain, and translate it into what the company ships next.
• Go-to-market: introducers, positioning, pricing, and the first repeatable sales motion.
• Company building: hiring, culture, and the operating rhythm of a company designed around AI agents rather than headcount.

What you bring

• Agentic AI experience — non-negotiable. You've built with or deployed LLM agents, automation workflows, or AI-native products. You know what agents can actually do today and what's hype.
• Financial services fluency. Payments, cards, onboarding/KYC, or crypto compliance — you understand how money moves and what regulators expect in principle. Advisors will be stand by anytime.
• 100% client focus. You measure yourself on client outcomes, not slideware. You'd rather ship a working solution this week than a strategy deck this quarter.
• Pragmatism. Early-stage means ambiguity, speed, and doing things yourself. You decide fast, correct fast, and don't need a playbook.
• Founder energy. Hungry, early in your career trajectory, and ready to bet on yourself. Prior startup experience is a plus, not a requirement.
