The Role We are seeking a bilingual (Arabic & English) Emirati Copywriter on a part-time freelance basis to support our growing marketing efforts in the UAE. This role will play a key part in shaping how Calo communicates with customers across multiple touchpoints, ensuring our messaging feels authentic, localized, and aligned with the Emirati audience. What You'll Do Write engaging copy in both English and Emirati Arabic dialect. Create CRM content including: Email campaigns Push notifications WhatsApp communications SMS campaigns Develop copy for: Landing pages Marketing campaigns Paid social ads Digital advertising Website content Support campaign ideation and concept development. Adapt global and regional campaigns for the UAE market. Ensure all content reflects local culture, language nuances, and customer behavior. Collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, Brand, and Growth teams. Review and refine translations to ensure they sound naturally Emirati rather than directly translated. What We're Looking For Must-Haves UAE National (Emirati). Exceptional writing skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to write naturally in local Emirati Arabic dialect. Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, CRM, advertising, or digital marketing. Strong understanding of UAE culture, trends, and consumer behavior. Experience creating marketing content that drives engagement and conversions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Nice-to-Haves Experience within food, lifestyle, wellness, hospitality, retail, or e-commerce brands. Experience writing CRM journeys and customer lifecycle communications. Background in creative campaign development. Familiarity with performance marketing and digital advertising best practices. Time Commitment Approximately 10 hours per week to start.
